What are Semafor LED Modules?

LED semaphore modules are compact, efficient and energy-saving light sources that are used in advertising lighting as the so-called edge lighting. Thanks to LED technology and focusing and diffusing lenses, they offer intense, even and long-lasting illumination, strong focused light, which translates into exceptional visibility of advertisements. SEMAFOR lenses are equipped with a unique lens that scatters the light along the module and focuses it very strongly on sides. This causes each SEMAFOR module to create a curtain of light. A flat surface of light scattering only sideways.
 

Installation of semaphore modules

The semaphore modules are mounted on the sides of the cassette. The modules must be arranged so that the light they emit overlaps the face of the coffer. Before gluing the modules, it is recommended to find the optimal place for their distance to the face of the coffer. To illuminate a double-sided light box, all you need to do is place the modules along two opposite edges. The module placed in the correct place illuminates the face of the coffer, evenly filling the entire face surface with light. No patches of brighter light or less lit areas. Semafor modules are installed in pairs on opposite sides of the cassette.

Powers and Radiance

These modules offer various power levels that can be adapted to individual needs. SEMAFOR modules start with models with a power of 1.2W and go up to 22W

SEMAFOR 2W modules are the bigger brother of SEMAFOR 1.2W. Equipped with a lens with identical parameters45x15>deg;it also has a very focused light stream, but much more power. The 18 cm long distances between the centers of subsequent modules make it a very cheap solution, even for a large double-sided cassette

Module SEMAFOR 2.5W 
- 3 lenses in 1 module and as much as 2.5W of power make them very universal modules for both large and small projects. 3 points ensure better overlap of light on the face and its appropriate propagation.

Module SEMAFOR 3W  
- o very focusing lens 6x45° It is designed for large double-sided cassettes. Despite their high power, these modules still have a narrow base that allows them to be mounted on the edge of the cassette. The Semafor 3W module will work great even for cassettes up to 2.5 m



Module SEMAFOR BAR 22W  - connected strip together with very strong 10 power diodes with a uniquely strong 7x25> LED lens. The amount and concentration of light they emit allow for edge lighting of the cassette up to 5 - 6 m
