

The branded EPEVER charging controller with the function of automatically limiting and reducing the charging current power ensures stable operation in conditions of too high PV power and high temperatures. Additionally, the controller is resistant to water and dust, with a waterproof rating of IP32. This controller intelligently manages the process of charging and discharging batteries, which directly translates into battery life. By offering MPPT functions, it converts the higher voltage of the solar panels into an increase in the battery charging current, which a regular PWM controller would simply waste. As a result, the charging current increases, causing batteries to be charged from the same solar panels much faster than regular charging regulators. The intelligent charge controller automatically adjusts its current conversion parameters to obtain optimal power. It moves along the current and voltage lines, selecting the point at which the product of these parameters, i.e. power, is the highest at the output. Another advantage of MPPT regulators, apart from the full use of the panels' power, is also the ability to work with panels with higher voltage than in the case of PWM regulators. Higher voltages also have the advantage of being able to use thinner and therefore cheaper cables or the lack of voltage drops in the case of significant distances between panels and regulators. These regulators have many adjustable parameters, such as the load cut-off voltage range or battery type or the method of setting the discharge output, which actually affect the operation and protection of the battery. The current parameters of the charging system are displayed on a large LCD display.
