The XLG series of power supplies is a new series of external constant-power power supplies from the Mean Well brand.

XLG power supplies have a unique feature of current regulation/lock. XLG power supplies are currently the most popular and valued external power supplies from the Mean Well brand. The XLG series has successfully replaced the much more expensive HLG and ELG power supplies not only thanks to their more compact shapes and excellent power-to-price ratio, but also thanks to the current locking function. The XLG-200-12 power supply will work well in outdoor installations, especially receivers that get very hot, such as strong tapes, LED modules, power diodes. By using current regulation, we will effectively block the amount of power consumed by these receivers, thus significantly extending their service life.

XLG power supplies come in various varieties.
In the most popular version A, the power supply has a current limit of up to 50%.
In the AB version, the power supply can be dimmed using 3 methods (PWM, 0-10V, resistive) from 0 to 100%
