Hermetic power supplies are power supplies that can operate in high humidity conditions as well as in outdoor conditions. They are often a power source for LED lighting, whether it is outside the building, garden lighting or bathroom lighting. They are used to power LED strips in the soffit of the house, garden lamps or LED strips in the bathroom where also moisture and water. Hermetic power supplies, also called external power supplies or waterproof power supplies, are characterized by a degree of water resistance of IP65 to IP69, meaning the way they interact with water from the most gentle, such as a pour to the most intense impact of a water jet.
