RGBD Digital LED Controller – Controller for Addressable LED Strips

The RGBD Digital LED Controller is an advanced controller designed for controlling addressable digital LED strips, enabling individual control of individual pixels or sections of the strip in decorative and effect installations. The device allows you to create dynamic lighting effects, smooth animations, color and brightness changes, and implement complex lighting scenes in architectural, advertising, event, and home lighting.

Description and Applications

The RGBD Digital LED Controller works with digital LED strips with built-in control circuits (e.g., WS2811/WS2818 and similar), allowing you to precisely define the color and brightness of each LED or group of LEDs individually. This allows you to achieve flowing light effects, light cascades, waves, pulsations, and many other animations that cannot be achieved with traditional RGB/RGBW strips without addressing. The controller can handle both single-color (Mono) and RGB/RGBW strips, providing a wide range of design possibilities for creating illuminations for stairs, corridors, ceilings, display windows, LED signs, and stage decorations.

The RGBD digital LED controller features pre-programmed effects, dynamic modes, and adjustable speed and brightness. Depending on the version, it also features a radio frequency (RF) or WiFi interface for remote setting changes. Many models allow you to save settings and restore the last used effect after a power outage, which is particularly useful in utility and advertising installations. The controller can be used both as a standalone device to control a single section of the strip, and as part of a more complex system, e.g., LED matrices, text, or effect panels.

Functions and advantages

  • Designed for digital/addressable LED strips (Digital) – individual pixel control.

  • Supports Mono, RGB, and – depending on the version – RGBW strips, allowing for a wide range of applications.

  • Built-in dynamic effect programs (flowing light, cascades, waves, pulsations, running light, etc.).

  • Adjustable animation speed and light brightness.

  • Suitable for operation in low-voltage installations of 5–24 V DC – in accordance with typical range for digital controllers.

  • Optional radio (RF) or network (WiFi/DMX) control – depending on the specific controller version.

  • Possibility of programming effects and animations, often with memory for the last mode.
